Falcao's double helped Atletico Madrid clinched the trophy

Atletico Madrid clinched the UEFA Europa League trophy as they won against Athletic Bilbao 3 against nothing last night. As they won 2-0 at the halftime with 2 goals from Falcao.

First shot of the match made in the 4th minute by Adrian Lopez, but it went wide. Then at the 7th minute, Falcao made the difference with a stunning goal, making it 1-0 to Atletico. At the 10th minute Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao had a chance to make it 1-1, but his shot went wide. Then Athletic Bilbao player Iker Muniain had another chance to make it 1-1 at the 24th minute, but it was saved by Atletico Madrid's goalkeeper Thibaut Chortois.

Another shock for Athletic Bilbao, as Falcao scored again in 34th minute when he got the pass from Arda Turan. The match ended 2-0 to Atletico Madrid in halftime.

Just after the 2nd half began, Javi Martinez from Athletic Bilbao headed the corner delivered by Ibai Gomez, but it was gone over the bar. At the 59th minute, Chortois made another save from a cross, or a shot, from Inigo Perez's freekick. Then Athletic Bilbao couldn't have the time to turn around as Atletico Madrid's Diego scored at the 85th minute. The last shot in the match was made by Athletic Bilbao's Ibai Gomez, but it was hitted the crossbar.

With this win, Atletico Madrid won the UEFA Europa League twice, the previous was in 2009-2010 season when they won 2-1 against Fulham through the extratime. And Falcao won the UEFA Europa League two times in a row as he won it with Porto last season.
